We are a family-owned business specialising in providing comprehensive turnkey solutions to both onshore and offshore wind farms. We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in business-to-business sales to join our team.

The position will primarily be office-based, with occasional visits to potential clients for sales-focused meetings.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to key decision-makers.
  • Provide ongoing account management to ensure client satisfaction and maximise customer lifetime value.
  • Actively participate in networking events and industry conferences to promote the business and expand professional connections.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to provide insights and support in developing marketing strategies, campaigns, and materials that align with the overall business development goals.
  • Assist the team with working on tender documents.
  • Possess the capability to effectively utilise our management software and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our operations.

The Ideal Candidate: We are seeking an individual with a background in Renewables or Oil and Gas, coupled with a track record of successful sales management. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organised, and possess exceptional communication skills. They should demonstrate a passion for sales and a history of delivering outstanding sales results.

Must be able to work full time from our Dundee office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
